Most of the suggestions listed, from photographer to medical assistant, certainly don’t apply equally to all teachers. The turmoil around cyber classrooms and the health risks of opening schools may well have convinced more than a few teachers to exit the profession, but there are important factors to consider in determining a new direction. From the amount of education or training required of certain roles to how well the work actually fits your interests, the elements of a job that you should consider in starting a new path won’t be captured in a simple title. Teachers have many transferrable skills and a wealth of relevant experience to bring to other industries and positions, but a generic list of job titles won’t help them transition to new career paths.
